Be an Insider to Houston's Best Foodie Spots!

A few weeks ago, I signed up for an EaterPass membership and with all the holiday madness, I had yet to give it a spin. The stars aligned just right at the beginning of the New Year for me to meet up with the gorgeous and Margarita loving Yadira of @shewillsay to enjoy a lunch at Field and Tides, sponsored by Eater Pass! We are both members so we got to use our memberships for the first time. So exciting!

So what is EaterPass? EaterPass is a membership for foodies to try the best restaurants and bars in Houston. As a thank you for coming to visit here, I am giving away a free month of Eater Pass to all my followers! All you have to do to join is click here and enter promo code V&Y+EP. This code is valid for one week only, so sign up today for a FREE MONTH of insider perks at all the participating restaurants! One visit to any restaurant more than covers your monthly membership! So eat out more, save more, and try the hottest places in HTown! Oh and the membership is only $8 a month with new places being added monthly!

From Eaterpass:

It was both Yadi and I’s first time to visit the restaurant and we were both wowed by the ambiance and setting. I loved the repurposed wine boxes as part of the decor and the bar alone is Insta worthy!

With so many amazing options on the menu, we decided to order the highly recommended Brussel Sprouts to share. The portions on this was very generous and although it’s meant to be shared with more than two, Yadi and I had no problem taking it down. It was all that!!

Of course, no visit to a new restaurant can be done without ordering their specialty drinks. I tried a bubbly vodka drink (in New Year toasting spirit!) and the Margarita Snob had to take the Angry Gunsel, a spicy hot take on the margarita, for a test drive while we waited for our entrees. She LOVED it and concurred that it is snob approved! Haha.

We each ordered an entree to share, mine was the special “Banana Leaf Fish of the Day” which was Mahi-Mahi. The presentation was gorgeous and all the details to taste were phenomenal. From the mango topping to the coconut rice and crunch plantain chips, my taste buds were happy!

We also ordered the sesame crusted Tuna Loin and I will not be sharing it next time! It was so great! The toasted sesame seeds added a great taste.
