adidas Parley Ultraboost new release for EARTH Day!

Aside carrying my refillable water bottle on the daily, today I wore my earthy tones with my adidas super sustainable Parley Ultraboost sneakers in celebration of Earth Day.

Fun fact: This product is created with yarn made in collaboration with Parley for the Oceans, which turns ocean plastic waste into thread that is woven into running shoes. Some of the yarn features Parley Ocean Plastic™ which is made from recycled waste, intercepted from beaches and coastal communities before it reaches the ocean. Each shoe uses an average of 11 plastic bottles per pair and incorporates recycled plastic into the shoe's laces, heel webbing, heel lining, and sock liner covers.

How’s that for sustainable?
